Was out in town the other day and had a very interesting conversation with a local shop owner. She had been gone for a few days. I asked if she had a good vacation to which she replied that her and a friend had gone out of town to a convention. She then went onto informed me it was about sustainable farming and its promise for the future. I was very intrigued. Since moving to the country I had started a small garden of my own. Reason being that prices in the grocery store are beginning to become a little scary, and if I can grow it I will. Plus the benefits of homegrown are amazing, but I am getting off topic. We both agreed that the current state of farming ( the fact that the government is not helping) and pricing at the stores ( that have become insane ) will eventually drive people to growing their own food. So I did a little research and this is what I have come up with.
